I'm a worrier!!!!

If you all know me AT ALL, you know I am a worrier! I just found out that my responsible party to take me to my EGD on 6/14 is going to be out of town through 6/16. I have to firm up good alternate dates with her BUT is it a "no-no" to have to reschedule your EGD? Will it affect my surgery date which is in August (the 2nd)? I don't want to call Dr. Iragu's office until I have some date options from my friend (by hopefully later today or tomorrow). Anyone out there to ease my mind until then? THANKS, KIT

Kit, Don't cancel the appointment. I'm not working and I think I live close by. If you want I can take you on th 14th. Email me your phone or I will be at the meeting on Saturday, catch up with me there. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Elissa dear, YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON. But believe it or not, I just talked with Dr. Iragu's office and asked them to change it. Like ten minutes ago!!!! So they are working on it and they didn't seem to think it would be a problem since my surgery isn't until August 2. I really appreciate the offer -- YOU ARE MORE THAN A WONDERFUL PERSON to be so kind and considerate. I'll see what Mistee and Bert come up with (since I asked them and they are working on it). I'm sure all will be OK but if not I know I can count on you. I'll update asap.

Elissa (and everyone else who contacted me), I had no problem changing my EGD date. It's on 6/29 now, plenty of time before surgery on 8/2. It's at 8am, be there by 7am, which is a good thing for me and my "responsible person." Both of us are night owls so we will probably just stay up all night! I"ll be half asleep that early, and my friend will be too. UH OH, maybe I DO NEED a "responsible person Two" for my "responsible person One." HA-HA!!!! It will be nice to get it done and over with early. So thanks everyone for easing my mind. Kit
