ROLL CALL!!
Hi Gang,
Since Tammy is still having computer troubles, I thought i would step up to the plate and be her Designated Hitter this month! lol So, it's roll call time folks.......how has everyone been.....status......any problems......let us hear about it! lol Gee, I actually sound like i know what i am doing!! Of course, no one does this like Tammy does! Anyway, as for me, i'm still in the Pre-Op stage...BUT my next appointment is for August 6th, for my Pre-Op with Dr. Wynn.......then it's off to surgery on August 25th!!! As Eagles coach Andy reid would now say, "The time's yours....."

Welp lets see... Ive been doing quite well lately. I am down 59 pounds just teetering on that 60 pound mark. I still struggle with my protein but have been doing very well lately and getting in 80 grams and sometimes more. I was told to up it to 120 for hair reasons as mine is slowly starting to come out (although it does that 3 months after I have anesthesia also). Ive been a little achy lately and am hoping that is just the weight moving around. other than that I am doing wonderfully! No complications as of yet and hopefully never! I can tolerate just about anything BUT lately I have noticed that the sugar things are starting to make me nauseous which I am very thankful for. (not that I eat alot of sugar of course) I had 3 tablespoons of peach ice cream over memorial day and it made me real nauseous. But didnt hurt my belly or anything it usually goes away after 30 minutes. I dont get the water that I am supposed to but make up for it with protein drinks and milk and such. I usually drink when I am thirsty. My favorite food is refried beans with sourcream w/tacobell mild sauce, thinly shredded cheese and a little salsa. (low fat items of course) and its sooo yummy and I feel like I'm cheating but IM not and thats always nice!!! Also addicted to Pumpkin Seeds! I know this is my time to get into good habits so I am really trying to do that. Fruit is awesome now and I looove watermelon and can tolerate it. I eat my green leafy veggies without any problems and get in my beans and such. I joined fitday.com and that is the absolute best site for tracking all your nutrition: vitamins, minerals, food, charts, goals, percentages etc and its free!!! That site has really really helped me with my weight loss. Welp thanks for starting this post Joe, I think I've rambled on enough Best Wishes Everyone!

As everyone must know by now, I am still "weighting" for an ok from insurance for surgery. I see Dr Baag again on 6/14/04. Cross your fingers that it is a good visit.
I've been keeping busy with the boys and baseball. Every night I'm at one field or another. It's almost over now and I wll miss it when it is gone.
I'm not posting so much anymore, but am reading every day or so. I don't mean to slight anyone but just don't feel like I have anything to offer being pre-op for so darned long. I'm impressed with everyone's progress.

Hiya Joe,
Looks like you're doing just fine in the roll call dept Let's see, I'm now 9 weeks out and down 53 pounds. I'm outgrowing my clothes in the right direction finally Stuff I haven't worn in years fits again. I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to that stuff before long. My credit card bill runneth over and I'm trying to not buy too much because it's really not worth it, however sometimes ya just GOTTA buy new undies haha.
I can tolerate most everything I have tried. I have the occasional episode. That's why I carry a large ziplock bag in my purse! Discreet pukage anywhere you might be and definitely saves the interior of your car when there is no place to hang out the door
All my test results were perfect when I saw Dr. Baag and I have more energy than I know what to do with. I think we should get a bunch of the board people together and head out someplace fun some Friday or Saturday night!

Hello Everyone,
Let's see, I am now 8 months post op and down 115lbs. I was able to buy a pair of size 12 jean shorts over the weekend. I used to have to buy 24 or 26 womens. I am still dealing with the horrible pains in the abdomen but I see Dr Wynn this afternoon and hopefully something can be done. CT scan, Xray and ultra sound showed nothing but there has to be something going on in inside my body. The pains have interfered with my life so much the last few weeks! Other then that, I am very satisfied with the surgery and its outcome so far. Best wishes to those waiting their turn and to the others who are already loosing!
Peace~~ Hope
Hello Everyone! I am new to rollcall, my surgery is on Monday and I am a bit nervous, but basically, just want to get on with it. Of course this week when I want to enjoy my favorite junk food for the last time, I'm having some kind of mouth thing going on. I had spicy food last week and I think I burned my tongue. Nothing tastes right! Oh, well. I have done all of my shopping, gotten all of necessary vitamins and protein for shakes. I am also sorting and cleaning out all my clothes by size to give me something to look forward too. I will be at the meeting this Saturday. Hope to see some of you there. Teri
Hi all!!
I'm feeling great. as of yesterday I have an unofficial weight of 264 (that's 46 pounds GONE). That is just 14 pounds away from my weight on my wedding day 18 years ago!!!!!!
Other than the nasty incident with Chinese the other day, I still haven't found anything that disagrees with me. I am still playing things pretty cautiously.
I am and am not looking forward to going back to work on June 14. I work for an awesome company that gave me sooooooo much time off. I am extremely grateful. But I'm really getting bored.
I'm going to WV next weekend, right before I go back to work because once I go back, they probably won't let me take a day off for a while.
See you all on Saturday!
