I was wrong about the pain....I think

Hello Everyone, I ended up in the Christiana ER Friday night! The pains which at one point thought was gas was not. It got so bad Friday I had no choice but to go to the ER. I was in tears with pain! I went in around 11pm and got out around 5:15am. I had already had an ultra sound done by Dr Irgua and it showed nothing. At the ER the doc did a CT scan and an Xray. Nothing was found. They did dose me up with some good drugs while there though! Dr Irgua nor DR Wynn was on call..... it was some other doctor I hadn't heard of before. I was given a RX for Lortab which I have only taken 3 times since then. I'm still not sure what the pain is I fear it may be an internal hernia. I see Dr Irgua on Thursday and will see what he says. When I saw him a few weeks ago he said he would do and ultra sound and then a CT scan, if those showed nothing then it would be exploratory surgery! I am hoping not to have to go through that but it looks like that may be the only option at this point since none of the tests have shown anything. I have tried to bear with this pain but it has gotten to the point where my body if giving up on fighting it. I felt okay yesterday and so far this morning feel okay but I have not done anything that requires a lot of physical movement. Happy Memorial Day Everyone!! Hi Hope, It sounds really silly to say but I'm sorry you don't have gas lol. Seriously, pain of any sort is no fun and especially nasty when you don't know why it's happening. I hope they find an answer soon and you are feeling better. Linda

Hope- I am sorry to hear that you are in pain, but it does sound like it could be an internal hernia..just from personal experience. I know that Dr. I doesn't have appt. until Thursday, but I would still call the office so they can get the tests results sent over to the office. That way you can go through it with him on Thursday.
