Have my date!

Just when you think you have it all worked out, everything changes. I signed up for a conference in Florida from June 27-July 3, bought the airline tickets, arranged to have some dresses made, and bought some new clothes because I KNEW I couldn't have my surgery until the middle of July which was too late because I have to teach a workshop in early August. So I was resigned to have to wait ANOTHER THREE MONTHS to get this thing started. So, I went for my second appointment with Dr. Miller and was scheduled for JUNE 29! After a brief prayer, my husband and I decided to cut our losses and do it NOW! So, it's June 29 . . . I hardly know where to begin. It's really going to happen. I'm totally dazed. I can't sleep right now, which is not a good thing because in three hours we have to get up and meet family from out of town in Newark for our son's graduation. June 29! God is so good. That's all I have to say for now. I've got to make my lists, clean the refrigerator, but not tonight, later, uh, well ... bye Diane Cook
