Our pal Kathy Van Nostrand

Hi friends, I received an email from Kathy's mom. She is in Christiana Hospital. She had her gall bladder removed last night. I spoke to Kathy today, and she is doing well. The baby is fine! She will be released either Wednesday or Thursday. Thanks! Deb

omg!! I just read this (as usual, behind on reading/posting) and I called Kathy immediately. She is doing soooooo much better and is being released today. I'll let Kathy tell you her story (and what a story it is!) but it apparently was a combination internal hernia at the Y (similar to Nicki's situation) and a gall bladder attack at the same time. But she sounds wonderful and is eating more food in the last day then she has eaten in the last two weeks. Dr. Wynn did the surgery and the baby is doing just fine (Kath heard the heartbeat). She will post as soon as she can to update everyone when she gets home.
