* * Postponed Again * *

Dr Baag called me yesterday afternoon to tell me that Mid-Atlantic wasn't going to pay for my surgery. I am now postponed again. I truly believe that he was acting as an advocate on my behalf and the problem is Mid-Atlantic. There's more details but I don't feel like going through them right now. Only that he is going to see me on a monthly basis to help me through this and to do whatever it is that Mid-Atlantic will accept. Perpetually pre-operative, Dianne

Hi Dianne, What an emotional trip this has been for you. I feel so terrible you have to go through all this. I'm glad you feel Dr. Baag is being an advocate for you and hopefully some how some way this will all come together as it should. Mid-Atlantic !! Linda

Dianne, Sorry to hear about you going through this emotional DRAMA right now with those stupid insurance co. I know you must be on an emotional roller-coaster about now. I hope there is some kind of an appeal process and that you provail. Insurance companies are so frustrating. I just talked to a girl that quit her job & started working for another company that covered the surgery. Fortunately by the time she had her surgery they were still covering it - but it just goes to show the trouble the insurance companies can create.

My heart goes out to you Dianne; you sure are having a tough time! I hope that Dr Baag continues to act as your advocate and that Mid-Atlantic will finally approve your surgery. Until then, stay strong and think positive! You will continue to be in thoughts and prayers. ((hugs)) Patti C

Wow! What an emotional roller coaster you have been thru... You get yourself all ready to have the surgery then boom, it's taken away. Then to have to go thru it all AGAIN! What a tough time for you. I'm sorry you have to go thru all this. Keep a clear mind and keep on the insurance company.... the squeaky wheel gets the oil...

Dianne, people with less tenacity would have given up long ago, but you're a fighter and you'll fight this through. That's why, when your surgery comes, you come through with flying colors. Diane C.

Diane, I can't believe that you were turned down. You got through the 2 fasting days. What happened? They let you get this far and stopped. What was their reason? Hang in there sweetie, This too shall pass. Gosh I was so looking forward to seeing how you made out while I was away. I am so sorry. Hang tough. Try to stay focused.
