Hello Vee. Glad you are feeling so well. I started putting fresh strawberries in my shakes from day one. I don't see why you couldn't put a little fresh pineapple in your shake as long as it is well blended. Start off with just a little because fresh fruit does have the natural sugars. I seem to be handling it just fine. I even ate a couple of strawberries whole the other day! Ken

Vee So glad that you are doing so well. That's encouraging for us Pre-Ops (of course, I am a perpetual pre-op it seems).

Hi Vee, Like Ken, I did strawberries early on in some shakes and yogurt. Start with a small amount of the pineapple and give it a try. Let us know how you did. Hope this finds you feeling well. Linda

I have been using canned and frozen pineapple for six months. The only thing that I would be concerned about with fresh pineapple is the consistency of the fruit. It may be too hard to blend.
