My Last Horraah Before Surgery

Folks I couldn't decide where to go for a last horrah, the boys and I wound up at the Chinese Buffet of all places. Getting ready for the two-day clear liquid diet. It was great seeing everyone this am. Sorry I didn't make the soup run, it sounds like it might have been delightful. Oh, my sister will have my cell phone on Tuesday while I'm in surgery - 302 898 6079. Thanks to all for everything. Oh and a big thanks for taking my pics and for all the samples (Debbie today and Tammy last time). Everyone is so wonderfully helpful. Dianne Loser-to-be.

I did the same as you on Thursday. My last food eaten before clear liquid day was chipped beef on toasted rye bread. Starving today. First clear liquid day. Surgery Monday. I wish you luck.

The soup was nice. I had Broccoli cheddar and was so inspired by it that I stopped at the farmers market, got broccoli and cheese and came home and made a batch!!!! Good Luck , I know that you'll do fine. Keep yourself busy and out of the kitchen and time will pass quickly! soon enough, you'll be getting notes from the clown saying "walk, sip, breath, walk, sip, breath"! Ken
