Hey Vee,
Glad to see your home and posting again...and to hear your feeling pretty darn good...That is a blessing within it's self.
As Diane I am still pre-op so I'll leave your eating/meds questions to the postie. And take notes please so you can help when my turn finally gets here. (smile). So for now keep up the good work and continue to feel better and better each day.

Hi Vee,
Welcome home! First things first, take a breath! lol I am sure you are doing things just right. Second, remember it takes time to get into a routine of getting all your food and supplaments in.
Here is a link to a post I made earlier in the week about that. Print it out and save it as a reference guide and maybe it will help answer some of your questions and give you some new ideas.

Welcome Home Vee!!!
Walk, Sip, Breath, Walk, Sip, Breath......
My first few days home, I didn't get in much more that pills and protein shakes. I would mix up my shake, then take about an ounce of it and mix in the Actigall and crushed pills and get that over with. Then I'd work the rest of the shake and chewable pills in over the next hour. I used the 20 ounce protein drinks to try to get in as much protein as possible while still getting in the liquids.
Good Luck, I know you'll do fine!

Hi Vee!!
SO glad to hear you are doing well Sounds like you are doing great so far! better than I did. I just couldnt stomach the puree stuff. Just remember to get in all of your liquids and protein! Keep walking lightly and rest when your body yells rest Try carb free dannon yogurt that is liquidy and I ate sugar free jello alot also. But soups...puree tuna and stuff like that is great! Just get in those liquids. (I personally had gotten dehydrated and ended up in the hospital) I was alright just SUPER tired and such. I just wasnt drinking right. Best Wishes!!! congrats!
