New kid on the block

Hello, everyone . . . I'm the new kid on the block. I plan to attend the meeting at PMRI on Sat. a.m. (my first) even though I'm planning to have my surgery in PA since I'm "too old" for the DE surgery practices (let's just say I'm on the far side of middle age!!!). Don't have a surgery date yet as I must complete my pre-op tests first. Met for my psych eval. with Dr. Keenan today. She wished me "good luck with everything" as I left and offered nutritional support if I needed it---do you think that indicates that I "passed" the evaluation??? I was too chicken to ask outright!

Hi Martha, Welcome to the boards! I'm also a pre-op and reading the posts everyday really helps. There are alot of great people here with all kinds of good advice and support. Hi Martha, Welcome. I'd say you passed. Dr. Keenan is tough and she'd let you know if she felt you had to do the Gastric Bypass Life Skills class. Congrats.
