Weight Gain-Follow Up

Thanks for the support and feedback. I called my plastic surgeon's office on Monday and they wanted me to come in and get checked. I just got back and Dr. Zabel said everything looks fine. He told me it is normal in some cases to swell like this. He also said to go ahead and continue with the exercise and don't back down and to drink more water. I do get in my water, but in this case I should increase it more. I feel so much better knowing that I have friends like you and a strong support system from the doctors office. So, while I was in the area, I had to stop by Carb Busters. Ed told me that they are going to be getting in more products with in the next couple of weeks. I suggested to him to call PMRI and see if he can do a speaking engagement, like he did at the NDE-WLS meeting. Hopefully he will follow up. I know Ed is going to meet with Dr. Wynn, Dr. Iragua and Brett at some point. I think Ed is great and really cares and wants to cater to gastric bypass patients. I think it would be great for him to meet with the doctors, the more he knows the more we benefit. We do get 10% off, although you have to remind him, because we were chatting and I looked at my receipt when I got out to the car and he forgot. No big deal, but a couple of dollars here and there add up. Thanks again for all the support. I am back to writing all my food down, so I can monitor calories. I know that I get enough protein in, but at this point in my process I have to star****ching the calorie intake. See you Saturday for PMRI and Monday for NDE-WLS. Nicki, Glad that you got that under control. See you on Saturday. I have found lately that Carb Buster's has been fairly disappointing. They never seem to have the items I'm looking for in stock. Not yet willing to give up on them, but I have had much better success ordering on the InterNet and getting two day delivery. Especially on DaVinci syrups. Rob
