Dr. Adeleke

Does anyone out there have an appointment with the cardiologist Dr. Adeleke before May 27 and would be willing to switch with me? I just found out yesterday from my surgeon's office that even though they told me I could see another cardio doc at my local hospital in PA, to expedite things, now that the office has received the results, they will not accept it! The tests are positive in my favor but it's now a problem because the dr I chose is not on staff at Christiana. It's the only thing holding up my surgery date and the office is being pretty strict about me having to see Dr. Adeleke. (Even though when I called Dr. Adeleke's office I am told I have all the proper tests done and I should have immediate approval). Why am I asking? I'm the poor soul who told you all before that my insurance runs out the end of August and I am scared I will not have a surgery date in time. I am pretty sure a new company will not cover the surgery. I really think this surgery is not meant to be. I am hoping the surgeon's office will take pity on me since it was an honest error and we can get this settled ASAP. Any help from you all out there would be greately appreciated!

I saw Dr. Kumar with Cardiology Consultants. He was wonderful and is part of the approval office. Maybe he can get you in sooner. T

As Tina mentioned - I also saw Dr. Kumar. I was originally scheduled to see Dr. Adeleke, but could not get in to see him until about 6 weeks after I had everything else completed. I called Dr. Kumar's office and had an appointment for about a week later. Good Luck! Patty

I also saw Dr. Kumar, and it was a breeze I already had a stress test done about 3months prior, and I brought the results he looked at it said I was in great physical shape for someone my size I explained my job to him he told me my job was keeping me alive. Well any way there was nothing to the visit. Maybe you can get in to see him. His office is right across from Christiana Hospital. I hope that helps....hang in there, you will be just fine. I went to Cardiology Physicians PA. I saw Dr. Gaetano Pastore. Very nice and did the stress test right there. He was recommended by Dr. Wynn's office. They also have Dr. John Kelly, Dr. Gilbert Leidig and Dr. Brian Sarter. They have an office in Newark and Wilmington. Maybe you can get in sooner. Ms. Kitty, I also have Dr. Gaetano Pastore. There is an office on Foulk Road and another office just past the Christiana Hospital. My husband has Dr. John Kelly, same Cardiology associates. I had the stress test at the Christiana office. I got the appointment faster there than at Dr. Adelke's office. I'm sure they are all good Dr's, just a matter of timing at this point. Good Luck.
