Sublingual B-12 Question
I just switched to the sublingual B-12 pill that goes under your tongue for 30 seconds. My pill does not feel like it is even starting to dissolve before I swallow it. Is this what it should do or do I have a bad batch of pills?
I got them at Wal-mart and the brand name is Rexall. I guess I thought that they would fizz or get smaller or do somthing!
Hi Mish,
I use the sublinguals from Trader Joes, they are teeny tiny and are gone in a matter of seconds. Maybe they vary from brand to brand? Or check your expiration date. If you don't like them, definitely take them back to the store. The ones from TJ's are only around 6 bucks for 100 tabs.

I don't know anything about the B12 but I take a prescription med that is a wafer that is supposed to disolve in your mouth. I have the same problem (swallowing it before it completely disolves.) My pharmacist and dr. said that isn't a problem as long as I'm not swallowing it immediately (whole). I wouldn't take my word for it, check with your dr., but I just wanted to let you know it happens to me too.
I LOVE the one from Vitamin Shoppe - the rasberry one. However - the one I got from vitamin shoppe I hate - it is some citrus flavor though. It says you can put it in a glass of juice or water though. - Anyway - my point is - if you like the GNC brand I can give you this one at the meeting on Saturday becasue I won't be using it. Only tried it the 1 time & that was enough.
