Gail, Thanks for your kind welcome. Another thing I like about Trader Joes, is you can get other healthy and good for you stuff, like snacks, even my little nieces will eat. Weaned them off some of the icky grocery store sweets and salties and they don't even realize they are eating something healthy!

Hi Kitty, Another Trader Joe's fan here. They have too much good stuff to mention! I buy my sublingual B-12's there. Excellant price andf they are teeny tiny and a no brainer to take. Make sure you allow lots of time when you go, it's a small store but has alot to look at! Linda

Linda, Thanks, I'm making a list from everyone's suggestions. The only thing I DON'T like about the store is how crowded it gets. The weekends during the day are packed! Thankfully, I like other stores in that shopping center so a lot of times I'll leave and come back later on.

Mel, OOOPS, sorry! Trader Joes is a specialty grocery store which as you see has a big following among WLS patients. It's located on Concord Pike, just above the Concord Mall, North going towards PA. There's a Target, Regal Cinema, Bed Bath and Beyond, PetSmart, Lowes in the same complex...Trader Joes is on the right hand side of the center where TJ Maxx is but closer to the street. It's a small place but full of great goodies. The staff is really helpful too. I asked the manager about safe foods for WLS patients and he was familiar but not able to choose them specifically BUT he said he would try to order anything if we created a demand for it! Can you access Tammy Tammy's www button (see above)? That will help. I don't know if Trader Joes has a website itself or if there are others in PA, NJ or DE. It's well worth the trip.
