A New Driver's License!!

Hey everyone! This is something I haven't really thought about until today. I ahd lost my drivers license so I went over to DMV to get a new one. Well while standing there I remembered "I need my weight changed". So i had it changed to 150lbs although I am only at 160. The the guy at the photo area said "let me see if your old photo is on file"...I immediatly said "NO I want a new one!". I always used my old one! The guy said "most people don't want a new one so come over and get your photo taken". I was never so happy to have a license photo done before!!! Hope

Isn't it amazing. I'm actually way under the weight I had posted on my driver's license. And that weight was pretty imaginary. 160 lbs. you are doing great. Rob

That is so cool you know for years I lied about my weight just a little!! Ha Ha and some day I too can go to DMV and happily tell them my true weight. Way to go Hope Dana

When I got my drivers license renewed last year I thought that I would have to get a new pic anyway. To my surprise they called out my name and handed me my new license. I hadn't been to motor veh in a while so I didn't know they had the capability to use your old pic. I kindly looked at the man and said, does this look like me? He said no, I'm sorry ma'am I called for Ginger Barkley. I said, this is Ginger Barkley. After explaining the surgery, He offered to take a new picture. I got lots of laughs that day!

Hope, I am so happy and excited for you. I am so looking forward to going in and changing mine also. The day that I suddenly realized that I weighed less than my weight on my DL was a big day for me. For years when I renewed they kept asking me if my weight had changed ... I kept nodding my head and they always took that to mean no ... and I was too embarrassed to correct them ... finally the last time I went in was just days before the birth of my last born ... and the weight on my license was WAY below what I was then and they asked me about my weight and I finally told the girl ... yes my weight has went up ... A LOT but I am simply too embarrassed to tell you the correct weight so we will just go with the 220 okay? She smiled and said that more people than not did not disclose their correct weight and that was the end of that ... until now ... I can't wait to go in and tell the to get all those 2's out of my weight!!! *grin* Hugs, Tammy

Oh BOY, can i identify with this one! lol mine expires in August and I am really hoping I have a good number to put on the new one....heck I hope the OLD number is accurate by that point! Way to go, that's a biggie! Linda
