I talked to Karen's daughter tonight and she advised me that they put Karen in ICU since they had to open her up, not able to do the surgery laporscopic. Christine said her mom was having a harder time then her but she was up and walking!! YEAH!! Good News!!! Be sure to send Karen all your well wishes and words of encourgement! Ginger

WHEW!! OK, I came on this morning and read the whole thread about her being in ICU and was very worried. Thank God it was a precaution because of open surgery. I swear I am convinced Dr.'s Irgau and Wynn are the best at what they do. Please pass on to Karen I hope she feels better soon, her recovery will be a little slower in coming but she is gonna be great! Linda

Thank God! I kept telling myself that this was why she was in ICU since I knew that it was a possibility that they would have to do an open procedure. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers that she makes a speedy and uneventful recovery. Thanks for the update Ginger!!! Patty

THANK YOU GINGER for the GREAT NEWS!!! Should we send our well wishes to her in her room in ICU or do you happen to know if they are moving her to a regular room soon? Wondering if they even allow the emails in ICU? Anyone know? Anyway ... thanks again Ginger!!! Love you all! Hugs!!!

Please let Karen know that we are all praying for her speedy recovery. So sorry she is having such a rough time. Hope her family is holding up. This is a really tough time for them all.
