What a Beautiful Day
Good Morning! What a beautiful day - windy - but no rain! I feel so much better today after a decent night's sleep in my own bed and then the world's longest shower this morning.
I woke up with very little pain or discomfort - hardly anything at all. I'm trying to myself on the 3 hour schedule beginning at 7 am. So far so good, but then, I haven't had long to mess it up!
I'm sipping on my water and looking out the window right now. I'm going to put on my sneaks and venture out to the paperbox in a few minutes to see how I feel. I walked (or paced) all over the house last night.
Thanks again to everyone for their words of encouragement and support. Every day is new beginning! Patty
Patty!!!
Welcome home and congratulations!!! What a trip eh? But oh what a trip it is!!! I am so glad that I have made the journey. I hope and pray that you will feel the same way! Sure I have had a couple of small bumps here and there, but on the whole this has been such a big blessing.
BTW-So glad to see you posting!!! If you need anything, this is the place to check ... I have not run into one single person here who is anything less than wonderful!!!
Gentle hugs to you my new friend!

Hi Patty
I finally figured out how to join this site. Jim sent an email the other day saying that you got home. I am so glad to hear that everything went so well. I can't get over how quickly you were able to leave the hospital after surgery. When my friend Sue had the surgery a few years ago, I think she was in the hospital for a week. Just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers. Take one day at a time. Today was a great day to be home from work. Lots of sunshine, the birds singing and the flowers blooming. A great day to be alive!
Work was the pits today.
The Big Guns are coming in on Friday.
Hope to see you soon.
