Had my 2 week visit today. I am down 16.6 pounds ( lol gotta get that .6 in there ) and I feel wonderful! Energy level is good my lap incisions look like tiny little scratches. Drain site healed nicely too. Went over my food intake with Brett and he was very pleased at how I'm progressing. My coat is feeling bigger everyday, and my clothes feel ALOT different than they did. I will definitely be curious to see what the inches lost works out to be when I go back to PMRI. All I can say is I feel wonderful. I check my blood sugar 4 x a day and all my readings are fabulous. This was my main reason for having this done. Iwas dx'd with it 5 years ago and my whole family is diabetic. It is such an ugly disease...this girl is gonna beat it tho! I don't know how anyone else feels but the actual weight loss seems to be more like a happy side effect rather than the whole deal with me. I'm doin the dance!! Hope you are all feelin' fine this cold windy day! Linda

Linda, Awesome. Whoa 16.6. It's really not hard. The WLS has given us a great tool to work with. Keep up the positive attitude. You must have an asbestos mouth to be able to handle the Actigall so easily. I just hated it and wasn't good for the 1st month about taking it consistently. So I am glad for you. Do you have to give yourself the Blood thinner shots? How are you making out with them? TT you soon. ((HUGS)) Elissa
