It was nice seeing everyone today. I'm sorry I didn't get to hang around and talk to everyone. We had an Easter egg hunt today at Lum's Pond for all the children of the associates that I work with. I was in charge of the event, so I had to run. I wish I had more time to talk today. Best wishes to all Deb

Hi Deb - you are lookin' good girl! I think the meeting went well today - it was great that you participated in the panel! It is so great to see all of us shrinking... and those preparing for shrinkage... hoping to see less of us next time... ((hugs)) Carla

Thanks Cj, I think you look great also. It's starting to get really exciting, isn't it. I think of all the things I can do now, fitting in a booth, exercising without grabbing my asthma inhaler. Life is definately good. I'm glad you guys are there sharing these things with me.

It was great to see everyone today, and especially the shrinkage! I don't see it in myself, but do in everyone else. Thanks to Kimberly for twisting my arm to take a picture, I'm glad she did, those old "shy away from the camera" feelings die hard! Thanks to everyone who said something nice to me today. It really does mean a lot. Ginger had suggested a get together. I deffinately think it's a great idea, esp after today, when I feel like I could have hung around and talked to everyone all day! To all you newbies, Welcome and good luck. We are all here to help one another. Talk about great support! to EVERYONE

Today's meeting was great. Debbie, I was surprised and so pleased to see you on the panel. Also, you are really shrinking away. The meeting was very informative. I'm always sorry to everyone as I seem to be rushing out to pick up my boys. Sometimes I don't even get the chance to say hi to everyone. I stayed for the picture today. It amazes me that I look forward to the picture. After my surgery in May, I'll be looking even more forward to pictures. Dianne

Hey Deb - it was great that you were up on the pane' - you look great. You are doing so well I was thinking about your dilemma for cooking for 1. Is it possible for you to make a dish - say chili for example - then freeze small portions to keep in your freezer like frozen dinner entrees? I might be able to help you out by finding some discontinued Tupper containers if you are interested let me know & I'll see if I can find some. I have about 6 of them, they are 1 cup & are freezer & microwave safe. They are perfect for us but for whatever reason Tupperware stopped selling them by themselves but I have access to thousands of consultants who may still have some personal stock of new containers.

Deb, I agree ... yesterdays meeting was truly great. I am so glad that I was able to make it. I have to tell you something ... when I first saw you up front I about fell off my seat trying to crane my neck to see if that was really you. YOU LOOK FANTASTIC. I could see a huge (no pun intended *grin*) difference since the last time we saw each other. You really need to get a recent picture of yourself and let me do a combo photo for with your other pre-op photo at the PMRI site. I think you will be amazed at the difference. You are doing an excellent job my dear friend!!! Keep up the good work. And it was not just Deb that had changed ... I looked around the room and saw the incredible shrinking support group. I tell you .... I spent more time at this meeting picking my jaw up off the floor than I did anything else. I can not tell you all how very proud and happy I am for each and every one of you. This is just so exciting watching everyone emerge out of their cocoons into such beautiful butterflies. And now we have a whole new group about to make that next step ... I am so very excited for each one of you and so very proud of your strength, courage and postive attitude. And then I looked at those posties that went before me ... looking like they have never seen a morbidly obese day in their lives and are just at the meeting to support someone else ... and now Rob has joined those ranks with Nikki and Clint!! I have watched Robs progress from just out of surgery to joing the ranks of the support club. While I have not known Nikki and Clint quite as long ... I have been able to see their progress in photographs and it is simply amazing!!! It is all so very exciting and gives me hope!!! I can hardly wait until the next meeting!!! I found myself wishing that they were closer together than once a month. Until next time ... eat slowly, chew well and drink, drink, drink (water that is)!!! Hugs, Tammy
