Congrats, Mel. Time will fly. Use it wisely to prepare. I called the docs Feb 2003 and my initial visit was Oct 2003 and my surgery is 5/4/04. It will pass. Dianne

Congratulations Mel!!! I can remember when I got my date. I was SO EXCITED and yet I too was a little ambivalent. I truly thought it was going to be forever before it got here ... and the truth was ... the time simply flew by ... and I was left trying to find more time to accomplish what I needed to do before surgery. Gosh, your date is incredible ... just TWO short months from now!!! Hugs, Tammy

Mel- Congratulations on getting a date! I know that it seems like forever and a day, but use this time to get yourself mentally prepared. Also, fill yourself up full of knowledge and support. I was very fortunate and only had to wait three weeks from the time I got the date to the day of surgery. Those three weeks seemed like forever, but looking back I am glad I had them. I made frozen protein drinks and froze them in ice cube trays and some soups and froze in mini containers, so when I got home all I had to do was microwave them. Congrats again! Nicki
