how much was by-passed????

Just a quick question....did any of you find out how much you were by-passed? I never asked Dr. Wynn...never even thought about asking..does it make any difference???? I figure I can ask at my 2 month appointment if needed. Just curious... Hugs, Kimberly

I was bypassed 150cm.And never thought to as****il after surgery.Duh!!Anyway Brett said thats the norm for them to pass.Hope this helps.

I didn't as****il after my surgery either. They bypassed 150 cm on me, I beleive that is what is called a "distal" and less then maybe 125cm is called a "proximal"? Someone may have to help me out on the proimal part. Anyway - I think it may have to do with your starting weight or BMI how much they end up taking.
