EGD done

Hi all! I had my EGD this morning. Went smooth as silk. I was in early and done quickly. I was scheduled for 8:45...They wheeled me into the prcedure room at 8:30. I was off the gurney, in a wheelchair and getting into my car by 9:30. I don't remember a whole lot in between! I don't remember why, buy Dr. Wynn gave me an Rx for Nexium. I seem to remember something about inflamation??? Yes, everyone was right, those ARE good drugs!!! I got my pre-Op paperwork from Dr.Wynn in the mail today. My pre-Op appointment with Dr. Wynn is 4/2/04. Looks like I'm still on for surgery on 4/13/04 Ken

Had mine done on Tuesday. I had to wait on gurney for 2 hours because Dr. Irgau was delayed in surgery. Wasn't too bad because I had a book and no where to go! I was out so fast I didn't get time to enjoy the drugs. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have the surgery be that smooth.

Ken - glad it went well!! That was almost fun huh? ;) a few more weeks to go!! Yipeee!

Hi Ken, Glad to hear things went well, I was also issued an Rx for Zantac, don't worry about anything unless, the office calls you, that is what they told me, I am taking the Zantac, but I don't think I will need to take the EGD again. Wow your day is comming fast, I guess you are going before me it looks like April 20 for me providing the insurance comes through!! So now you can let me know how things go. Take care Dana
