Trader Joe's??

Hi, gang! I was wondering if anybody might be traveling to Trader Joe's in the next couple of days? I'm needing to pick up the Trader Joe's protein powder in vanilla but I'm not able to make it up there due to work volume. If I could meet you somewhere in Newark to do the drop off of money and pick-up of supplies (oh! sounds sinister!) that would be really great!! Thanx in advance, guys!! (((hugs))) -Karen

Is that protein powder good? is that what everyone gets from trader joes?

Hi, Christine... I really like it...made with skim milk in my shaker cup, it tastes just like chocolate milk to me. I have the nurtitional info listed at the MSN site. I wanted to change-up to vanilla this time, though, in order to try some of my new sugar-free syrups like egg nog and butter rum. I'll let everyone know how it tastes! (((hugs))) -Karen

Karen, I just went on Sunday..had to get my protein powder(choc. whey); If I go back out for any reason, I'll let you know. I had to go to Target, Michaels, and Old Navy ..so I just made it a day in Newark. Hugs, Kimberly

Hey Karen, It's just down the street from me so I could pick up the powder for you. How urgent is your need. Can you wait till Saturday? I take a course at DelTech on Saturday, so I could swing by afterwards with "the stuff". Do you buy the egg and whey, or soy protein? I can send you my cell phone number if we need to coordinate. If you need it sooner than that, I can get it to you sooner, since I'm bored and just looking on-line for work anyway. By the way for those people that are cost concious Trader Joe's price on things like protein bars is phenomenal (sp.?). My family buys the peanut Balance bars there for $.99 vs. $1.49 at the Vitamin Store. We buy 20 at a time. Rob

I have found my favorite smoothie is crushed pineapple, davinci orange syrup, and the obligatory protein powder and soy milk. I may go make one now. Those are good chips. I had them last night with london broil strips and salsa. Enough talk about food, Rob
