Thanks!!
I just wanted to take a moment to say 'Thank You'. It feels so good to know that there are so many people around that can make a person feel so good. Everyone's comments have been terrific and i truly truly appreciate it! I couldn't help but laugh, because it appears that i think in such a short time, I've been designated as the "80's Geek" of the boards. LOL I'm just glad that my telephone number isn't 867-5309, but you can Take it On The Run cuz I'm gonna Keep On Lovin' You!! Ok, that's my 80's references for the day! lol Thanks again for everyone's support. I look forward to meeting a lot of you, and developing good friendships as well!!!
Hey, Joe...
If it makes you feel any better, I, too, am an 80's fan...owned REO Speedwagon's 'Wheels are Turnin' cassette (it's still around her somewhere...). Had many 'One Lonely Night' and finally knew that I needed to "Live Every Moment" because "I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore'.
Boy, does THAT bring up memories. AIT at Ft. Dix...where I fell head-over-heals in love with a soldier named Marc. (sigh) Thanks, REO!
(((hugs)))

The 80's...late 80's I was into the Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses thing..late 70's early 80's wa***** and new wave. Ramones!...Sex Pistols! Elvis Costello! Joe Jackson! Those were the days, road trips to NYC, punk concerts and still buying albums on vinyl . LOL My fav store in Manhattan was a place called Trash and Vaudville, they had the best clothes. Someone told me they're still in business and catering to the Goth kids lol
