dumpty humpty is home!
hey guys!
well i'm home from the tummy tuck and inner thigh lift. i also ended up having a hernia repair(surprise!). i'm not in too much pain, it is more uncomfortable than anything else. in 8 weeks i'm supposed to have the arm lift and butt lift, but i am thinking against the butt lift. i don't want another wound to heal. i'm thinking i just might have the lipo there. hahahaha ok i'm just gonna let my ass drag because i think that would just be way too much for me to handle, plus my butt doesn't look THAT bad. hahahaha my stomach is flat flat flat and my thighs look great. i don't have that much swelling either. if anybody is thinking about having it done i would say go for it!
FRAN FLAT TUMMY! Sounds real good !!! Soo glad to see you are home and doing well!!!
Can hardly wait to see your updated photos!!!
Question for you ... with your tummy repair did you have to have muscle work? That is what the docs said I likely will need. I messed up the muscles pretty bad with my last pregnancy. And I am hearing horror stories on how much that hurts!!!
Thanks for letting us know that everything is going alright!!!
Please make sure you get your rest.
Hugs,
Tammy
I USED DR. SWIER IN LEWES. HE AND HIS WHOLE STAFF WERE GREAT. HE IS A PERFECTIONIST. I CAN'T STAND UP STRAIGHT YET BECAUSE ITS ONLY BEEN 2 DAYS, BUT I THINK I WILL BE BY NEXT WEEK. WITH ALL THE AFTER WINTER SALES I WAS BUYING CLOTHES LIKE CRAZY I CAN'T WAIT TO BE ABLE TO WEAR THEM THIS WINTER. I HAVEN'T TRIED ON ANY OF MY CLOTHES YET. I THINK I WILL LIVE IN MY PJ'S FOR 2 WEEKS OR SO. I'M NOT SURE HOW MUCH HE REMOVED BUT I WILL FIND OUT ON TUESDAY OR WENDESDAY AND I WILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW. I DON'T MIND LOTS OF QUESTIONS BECAUSE I KNOW I ASKED ALOT BEFORE I HAD THIS. HAHAHA
Hey, Fran!
Welcome back! I'm glad everything went well. Geez, to have a flat stomach and my thighs pulled up. (sigh) Well, maybe in the future.
I also was told Friday that they now feel an umbilical hernia. They couldn't feel it before because of the fat (well, they said 'girth' to spare my feelings!) lol
I'm also a little disappointed as Dr. Wynn's scale is a little different than what the scale I'm using says. That said, I guess my proclamation of hitting -50 is a little early. But that's OK...we'll keep working at it!! (I'm drinking protein as I speak!)
Thanks for keeping us posted, Fran, and it's good to see you back home recovering.
(((hugs)))
Congratulations Fran! I'm so glad it went well for you. How exciting!! As you heal, I'm looking forward to hearing more about how you feel.. can you walk straight up, how do you clothes fit, any mini skirts in your future??? You are the first one of the "group" to have this done. I hope we don't scare you away with too many questions. haha... oh..what dr did you use and did you like him/her??
Take care of yourself dear.

Way to go Fran!! I bet you are going to be riding on cloud nine! I do have a question for you, I noticed it hasn't been quite a year since your gastric bypass, how did you manage to get tummy tuck done so soon? I am only 33lbs away from goal (not quite 6mths post op) and I have rashes constantly under my belly. I am curious to see if I can have a tummy tuck before 1 year is out. (( had previous problems with rashes before but usually only in the summer).
Anyway, can't wait to see your pictures!!!!
Hope
