I have been talking to my new friend L B and i look forward to meeting more new friends too. I am just about finished with my Pre-Op appointments and then hopefully I'll be getting a date for surgery. I have a follow up appointment with my cardiologist this Tuesday and i guess he'll be going over my stress test that i had done last week along with my 'echo' test too. I'm kinda nervous but its an exciting kind of nervous. Everyone has said that my tests look great, but i guess it's up to the doctor for the final word. Anyway, i thought i would just post something basic to get my feet wet on this message board!

Welcome Joe, You'll get addicted to this group. They just spew out support for any issue you come up with. If you attend the PMRI meetings look me up. If you need any questions answered just post them, because everyone has their own answers. Some will work for you, other may not. By the way, nervous and anxious is good. Rob

Hi Joe, Welcome. Glad to have you on board for your journey. Keep posting and asking questions. We are a fun group that loves to give the newbies encouragement. You've made the 1st step now leave the rest to the good Dr.'s. You'll need to have some patience to get through al the pre-req's, but it is soooooo worth it. Nervous and anxious is okay, we've all been there. Any questions, just ask. We'll try to answer. May not be what you want to hear and you may get more than 1 answer. But we're here to support each other. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Welcome Joe. I responed to your post about the EGD in Linda's note just below this one. Welcome to the group. I just read your profile, 80's geek, lol. REO SW is good, but how about R.E.M.? I recently got their new one (old hits) and it is great. But I'm too old to be considered an 80's geek, lol. Sounds like you are on track in your journey and it should be smooth sailing from here.
