5 month visit with Dr. Baag at PMRI
This was fun and we actually had a lively conversation. Can't believe I'm five months out already. He calculated that I have lost 1/3 of my original self. [Neck size went from 21" to 16"]. Blood pressure perfect (no meds), and cholesterol outstanding (still taking Lipitor but only 5mg per day down from 20 in Oct). My doctor and Dr. Baag are having a feud over whether I should just drop the Lipitor or not. Next visit I may, but it's good for your arteries so I don't mind it. He gave me a copy of the blood work so I could frame it.
By the way, he had to take my blood pressure twice, since he couldn't believe that I could handle the stress of sending my job offshore (three more days), and have it come in at 116/72.
Getting healthy is really fun. Make it contagious....

Rob, you are looking marvelous. Good job on the health issues too.
I was IRIF'd/Retired on December 15th. My job went to Canada. I am getting severence until August, then I will look for a job. In the meantime if anyone needs their hair cut colored or permed I have my license still and a shop in my basement. I am being career counseled now getting things together for putting out my resume. Not in a hurry though. I don't want to loose my benefits or severence early and pay any penalties.(sp) Not sure what field you're in, but good luck searching. I go to my primary in 2 weeks to discuss BP & Cholesteral medicine. Also have appointment with Dr. Baag at PMRI.
