Mmmmm..try these!
Hey, all...
I wanted to share a couple new discoveries I found at Food Lion in Middletown this weekend.
First, I picked up the new Dannon Light and Fit Carb Control yogurt. It has 3 grms of carbs, 3 grms of sugar, 3 grms of fat, 5 grms of protein and 60 cal for 4 oz. $1.99 for a pkg of 4. I got the Strawberries and Cream, but the package says it also comes in Peaches and Cream, Raspberries and Cream, and Vanilla Cream (only saw the Strawberries and Cream). Very yummy!
Second, I tried these Kellogg's Special K Breakfast bars. 18 grms of carbs, 8 grms of sugar, 1.5 grms of fat, 2 grms of protein and 90 cal per bar. A little higher with the sugar, but I ate half one hour and then the other an hour later, just to be safe. They come 6 to a box for $1.99, but if you really like them, I'm told that they also sell just the Strawberries and Cream at BJ's (24 for $5.69). At Food Lion, they had Strawberries and Cream, Peaches and Cream, and Blueberries and Cream. If I'm not mistaken, the Peaches and Cream were a little higher in sugar, so you may want to be careful with that one.
Hey, at least I'm branching away from the obligatory salsa! Will update on the MSN site, as well.
(((hugs)))

Hey Karen,
Great minds think alike even when there not turn on (in my case). I tried the Dannon Carb Control also, but only the vanilla cream. There mighty good and a great option for quick lunches (preparing not eating). Of course I have added the Davinci syrup, and the protein kegs (from Carb Delight). I've gotten one of those up to about 20 grams of protein with the added protein kegs. You can also shave one of those Protein Bars (I use the At Last bar) into it and have your very own "Shiver". Haven't tried it with salsa yet though.
Assume your still kicking,
Rob
