I hit a brick wall

Hi everyone I just got some bad news, Dianne from Dr. Wynn's office called and said she heard back from my insurance they won't go any further without doctor supervised diets or exercise programs I did go to diet doctors in the past, but it was so long ago I never wrote it down, so now I have one day to come up with what they need, then I have to call Dianne back I may have to take the lifestyle course at the pmri. I just knew things were tooooooo good to be true Dana

Oh Dana! I'm sorry that you have hit a brick wall -- insurance companies sure can wreak havoc on our journey! Don't give up girl! Try and gather as much information as you can remember, make calls to your previous doctors, maybe they can pull your old records?? I pray that all works out for you!! ((hugs)) Carla

Dana, You may have hit a brick wall ... but hey girl ... you are strong, knock that wall down one knick at a time! In addition to what Carla said, maybe you should go to the main board and post to see if anyone else has your insurance and seek advice from them on how they dealt with them? Sorry to hear that Dana....And most certainly the ppl that responded before me gave good suggestions. See what you come up with....I am sure the journey will pick up again soon....The insurance companys always try to get out paying something.....Your not alone....Been there. Hi Dana, I am sorry to hear about the probs with the insurance company! I hate insurance companies! YOU pay all this money for coverage and then have to go through a bunch of red tape to get something done!! But one way to look at it is, God makes these things happen for a reason. Maybe it is just time for mental stability (Im you alreayd have that for the surgery) or something. I don't know but stay positive! It will all work out for the best in the end! Peace! Hope

Hey Dana, Don't forget to check back with your primary doctor. Especiall when you have health problems. The only time that I think it actually beneficial to have health problem. Usually your doctors have enough history to satisfy most insurance companies. Good luck. Rob

Hi Dana, I truely do understand your frustration with the process. I have been through a gazillion emotions from one end of the spectrum to the other...and often in the space of about 5 minutes lol ( my poor hubby ) I promise you even tho it seems so far away right now, it is going to seem like about a minute has passed when the time arrives. Keep hangin in and use the time to prepare as much as you can, you will be a loser in no time! Linda
