only 6 lbs

Okay it's my turn to whine. I've told lots of people to not worry, that they are doing fine and it will come off, now I need that speech. I jumped on the scale today at Dr Irgau's office (cause I was there). I've only lost 6 lbs in almost 3 weeks (thurs will be three weeks). What am I doing wrong? Do you really think starting to walk and Curves (the last two weeks) is building muscle already??? So much so that I won't see the scale move? I'm very disappointed and bummed, and I don't deal well with disappointment I'm getting 60-80 gr of protein, 40-50 oz fluid, and eating 3 meals a day. so.. what is up with this?? ps..back to work today so that makes me more bummy

Hi Tina, How are your clothes fitting? sometimes when you exercise you will lose inches and feel the difference in you clothes, but not pounds. It will come off, I haven't heard of any one not loosing! Hang in there and by the way I saw you at the meeting on Sat and you looked great! Take care Dana

Oh stop. 6 lbs on top of how many other lbs? I forget. It should be in the high 30's or low 40's? It'll come off. It could be worse. You could have gained 6 lbs. No sympathy from me. You are doing great. Just stay focused and positive. We're here for you. All you gotta do is mutter the word and we'll respond. It may not be what you want to hear though. I hope your second day at work is better than today. LOL ((HUGS)) Elissa

Hey, Tina! I didn't know u were back at work today! I would've met u at the salad bar for cheese! Don't worry...we've ALL gone thru our own individual plateaus. It WILL come off. Your body is going thru it's 'starvation mode' right now, but it will adjust and then come off. (((hugs))) -Karen

Linda, Maybe you just have going back to work blues. I was told to get 5-6 meals per day, and two of those are 30 gram protein shakes. Just stay on track, and pounds will start peeling off soon. Rob
