FREEBIES!!!
Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen!!!
I come bearing gifts .... freebies if you will!!!
I have plans on making it to the meeting today if all goes well on this end. If I can make it I will be bringing some proteins that I don't really care for, but you all may love!!!
If you are interested, here is a rundown of what will be stuffed in the inside pockets of my Trench Coat. *Huge Ornery Grin*
6 single serve packages of Gourmet Protein Single Serving packets with real fruit pieces AND a $5.00 off coupon - Assorted flavors listed below.
Bananas & Cream
Berry Medley
Chocolate Chip
Pina Colada
Rasberries & Cream
Tropical Paradise
AnyWhey Protein Powder
Unflavored 2lb canister - opened
If you would like a sample, just bring something to put it in! Or you can take the whole can! It is up to you guys! Divy it up "AnyWhey" you want!!! *grin*
I am also bringing some of the protein powders from the doc office since we are not allowed to return them there anymore. I used to love these flavors but my tastes keep changing and now they just don't taste very good to me. Go figure ... but that is the plight of the bypass patient. Tastes always changing!!! Well anyway, I am not quite sure what all I have ... think there is about 14 packets of assorted items ... mostly soup and puddings/shakes (I think)
I also have clothing in sizes ranging from 5X down to size 20. If you are in need, let me know and I can better let you know what I have. I won't be bringing that with me today, as I won't really have the time this morning. I have a tight schedule today with several meetings after PMRI. Just email me with your size needs if you are interested in the clothing. My memory is failing me, and if you email me, then I will stand a better chance of not forgetting!
If you are interested in the protein powders, please see me at the meeting!!! I will have those with me and have no desire to pack them back up and back home with them!
Hugs,
Tammy
Hi, Tammy!
You are such a sweetie! I'm sorry I will miss seeing you today (hubby has to work at the last minute) but I sure will be thinking of you all!! I am sooooo happy that things are going well for you...LOOK AT YOU, babe. Out of size 20 already!!!!! Whoo-hoo!!!! I'm so proud of ya!!
(((hugs)))
-Karen
Hey Karen,
I sure missed you and your bright smile, wonderful attitude and love!!! Perhaps next time. The meeting was great IMHO! One of the very best, as far as helpful information for me. I would strongly urge anyone who did not make it to consider going the next time they have this subject.
As far as being out of 20's ... NOT!!! Wish I could take that praise ... but I am wearing 18-20's depending on the cut. And even if they are running a bit large at the moment, as long as they keep me covered that is my main focus at the moment!!! *grin* Sure wouldn't want to subject anyone to a streaking fat lady!!! *huge ornery grin*
Keep up the good work Karen ... you are doing excellent!!! I am proud of YOU!!! Can you believe is has only been 4 short months since our surgery? So much has changed!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
Sorry I missed all of you today,
I'm going to school on Saturday for about three to four more weeks to get certified (not mentally, I'm already there). I'll probably attend the March 22nd session on Monday night. I needed a pick up today, and all of you give me a lot of positive energy. So I'll just have to wait till next months. I have my weigh-in with Dr. Baag on Monday. Five months today people, and 93 pounds lost by my scale. Not bad for an underachiever.
Next on my agenda is to get through the next week. My job gets transitioned to India on March 15, so I will join the ranks of job searchers. So glad that I had this surgery, so that I could take care of all my health problems, cause I don't think I would have made it through the past few months in my previous state. I'm actually ooking forward to starting a new job, although I must admit I am looking very hard to find a place with happy people.
Last item. The WLS-NDE Support Group is going to have a garage (clothing) sale this spring. So save those clothes and bring them on by. This is a great support group where we try and support each other, and enforce monthly life habits. They are going to have a psychologist in soon to speak about self-image (why do I keep seeing that fat(obese) person in the mirror), how to fight head hunger, and other current topics. I keep waiting so I can just get rid if all my BIG clothes and have an empty closet. Should be a fun day. It is another opportunity to meet a whole new set of posties, many who celebrating many years since their surgery, and many that have reached their goal weight.
Well, I'm done rambling. Hope everyone is healthy, thinner or more muscular, and smiling. You always gotta smile.
Your friend,
Rob
Dear Friend Rob!
Hey I like the way that sounds!!! Anyway ... CONGRATULATIONS!!! JOB WELL DONE MY FRIEND!!! Pretty soon going to have to have a party for all you century club members!!!
How is your week going? I will be praying for you and pulling for you!!! Be sure to keep us posted. I know what you mean ... new things are suddenly less scary and seem to be a little more on the line of adventurous. Go figure ... who knew that would change with the surgery!!!
Thanks for the heads up on the garage sale ... Karen has been telling me the same thing, but for some reason, just getting these clothes out of my sight and home is so very important to me. It feels like I need to rid myself of this part of my past. Weird I know. As far as the topics to the meetings ... they sound right up my alley! Need to really make an effort to get to those meetings!!!
Well, here's to wishing you a great day full of sunshine and smiles!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
