Hey, buddies!! Guess what?! I have met three goals that I am soooooo excited about this week!! 1) I have reached my half-century mark of 50 lbs lost!! (finally!) 2) I actually put on a size 18 dress pants this morning. That one took a double-take...I knew they were in the 18's pile, and I was just 'checking'. But I thought I had grabbed the wrong black pants because they just slid up! (They definitely didn't slide up a couple weeks ago.) 3) I actually TUCKED a shirt into some pants the other day. Dare I buy a belt now? lol Of course, I HAD to wear an open shirt flowing over the tucked shirt...I'm not THAT comfortable yet with the size of my derriere but... it's a giant step for mankind! Karen: I (and we all) are so proud of you and your accomplishment. You keep us all motivated while going through your own struggles. Keep up the good work! I know you will hit your final goal weight without incident. Then you won't be worried about how that derrier looks. As for me, I seem to be losing all of my weight in my b__t. I now look for a soft chair to sit in, instead of the all metal or wooden chairs, because that is the part that I feel the most. If I get stuck in a hard chair I am squirming the entire time trying to find a comfortable position that does not hurt as much.
