Surgery Tomorrow!

Welp this is it everyone. Surgery tomrrow at 8:00 am at christiana! well i have to be there by 8:00. I am just nervous, excited, relieved, scared you name it. Tired of this liquid diet. My tummy has been arguing with me all day... i told it you think this is bad??? you just wait!!! so im off...I will let you know how everything goes Wish me luck! God Bless Elizabeth M

Hi Elizabeth - I'll be praying for an uneventful surgery for you tomorrow. Try and get plenty of fluids in tonight - it will help you tomorrow. If you haven't already done so, may I suggest you take your measurements. There are going to be times when the scale is unfriendly - it has been in those times, that I found comfort in seeing how many inches have "melted" away. And don't forget to take plenty of before pictures...it also will help you to see how far you've come! God Bless - see you on the losing side! ((hugs)) Carla

Many hugs and best wishes for tomorrow Elizabeth! Feel free to give me a call if you I can help! I've only been home since Sat. night..but all my memories are coming back now..lol! One thing I can tell you is that the nursing staff etc. was incredible! Always available to me..and of course Dr. Wynn and Iragau are awesome! Bring a portable cd player ..if you get bored..that helped..but I slept through most of it. Also, I did learn you can have a private room at Christiania..its like $100 more out of pocket. Hugs!!!!
