I have a new date!

Hi everyone I finally called the office today and asked for a closer surgery date. I left a message and about an hour later, Marie called and said sure you can have a closer date so now my date is April 6. One day after my birthday I guess I won't be having birthday cake this year, not that I care I am happy the date is closer. But after I humg up the phone I started to cry. Wow the emotions just came rushing in. I just hope my insurance comes through soon. Well I am sure I will be asking a million questions soon! Take care everyone Dana

Dana, I was scheduled for April 6th as well. My very first date was Feb 2nd then it was moved to April 6th now its March 3rd! LOL I am waiting to see if insurance will approve me they are reviewing my claim now Best wishes to you. I know its hard not to get emotional when thinking about it. It hasn't really hit me yet. I suppose once I hear from the insurance company and they approve me then it will hit me! Best of luck on your journey Elizabeth M

Great news Dana. Once you make up your mind the WLS just can't come soon enough. Then time will pass quickly. Hooray. I was approved by Aetna 11 days from surgery. They cut it kinda close. We're here for you. ((HUGS)) Elissa
