Hi Gail, I'm so glad all went well with the dietician. Good luck with the next appointments. My psychologist appointment only lasted about 10 minutes. I filled out a questionairre, then shortly after that, I met with her briefly. It went very smooth. Where are you doing your pretesting at? Who is your surgeon?
Let us know how your next tests turn out, we'll be praying for you!!
((hugs)) Carla
Hi Gail! I am from Delaware and been there and done that and NOW counting down to less then 2 weeks before my surgery date. It is ALL very stressful going to all the doctors and hoping ALL give approval. I was glad when all that was over. Then I had to sweat out to see if the insurance company would approve..and THEY DID! FINALLY! If you need anyone to talk to please feel free to contact me and i will give you my work and home number. It is good to have someone that is also in the same boat I am! Good luck to you!
Vanessa

Hi Gail, Welcome !
There are many of us on here from the Delaware area, so relax... We are all here to help . I too had Dr. Irgau, and at 4 wks post op, so far so good. I agree with go with the flow. You will do fine. Don't forget to get your cardiac and pulmonary doctors lined up (if you haven't already). That can take some time too for clearances. Good luck!
Gail:
The Lord is Good, indeed! Praise his Holy Name.
I, too, struggled with all of the approvals. Not so much the going and getting them, but all of the time in between. But that gave me time and patience. For, He tells us, "In my time, not yours!" I just saw it as His opportunity to close the doors if surgery was not right for me. And since everything worked out fine with no hitches in getting the approvals and finally getting Insurance approval I chalked it up to His approval to go ahead with the surgery.
I also found, through the approval process that I have Sleep Apnea, a cholesterol problem and high blood pressure. Since all of these were diagnosed, they are now being treated. And they supported the Insurance approval to pay for the surgery, which is not always a given. So the approval process, although frustrating at times, is a good thing in the long run.
As you already know, all things work for good to them that love the Lord! You know where your strength is. Keep your eye on the prize.
