Big news & Warning to new post ops
Kathy,
Congratulations! I share in your happiness and fear but I am sure all will be fine. Just take extra care of yourself and try to double up on all your vitamins. I was told by Dr. Irgua that even your conventional birth control methods don't wor****il you are below 190lbs. Those using the pill or whatever also need to have a condom used for extra protection. I remember Dr Baag askign me about what birth control I planned to use after surgery. I told him my hubby had a vasectomy 6 years ago and I was not worried about it. He still wanted me to use another form of birth control but I don't. (I took a depo shot just to stop my period since my anniversary weekend is coming up). I also told Dr Baag that I was not concerned since I was one of the lucky obese women who had no problem conceiving (all 3 daughters were special surprises) and since in almsot 7 years now I have not gotten pregnant I was not worried. Dr Irgua confirmed I was okay not to worry about another form of birth control as long as I was just with hubby *L*.
Please keep us posted on your progress!! What a miracle!!!
Hope
