Thanx, everybody!! All of u'r wishes really warmed my heart! We had a great day...even though it turned a little cold and there were a couple of raindrops. One of the highlights was sitting in the visitor's center at the back after our little hike...the bird-watching was wonderful! We saw many neat birds visiting the bird-feeders and small pond. In particular were the white-breasted nuthatchers (http://www.wbu.com/chipperwoods/photos/wbnut.htm) and a female downy woodpecker (http://www.wbu.com/chipperwoods/photos/downy.htm). We had great fun looking through the bird-identification manual and writing down the birds we saw in the log. We're even considering a conroe ride next!
