At least six years. Not really. I'm sure I tried one at three months. I'm still confused by the sugar alcohol (I'm not sure that we can count net carbs yet). Most of the bars contain malitol so I guess it's user beware. Haven't had any problems yet, and they are convenient and actually I have been able to eat one 2 oz. bar at one sitting. Boy am I ambling. Rob

Susan Maria - OH member has one coming out soon, check her website, I think you can pre-order at this time: http://store.bariatriceating.com/buybobeandaf.html This lady Barbara Thompson had surgery & made her own website & has a book - http://www.wlscenter.com/ Or if you don't want to pay money for a book. Just type WLS or other key words into search engines & you will find many many resources and sites to help you out. You will find stories , good & bad. There is a wealth of information right here on OH if you look arount too. Good luck.

I bought Carnie Wilson's book "I'm still Hungry" last night. Its a quick read..and very good about showing and explaining some of the emotional issues. I bought it in hardback..but was told it was coming out in June in paperback. Kimberly
