Fitday.com?
Does anybody else use this website to track their nutritional value? If so, how do you calculate your protein drink?
I couldn't find it in a category, so I went to 'add custom food' and plugged in all the info from the can. It wouldn't save because of this error msg:
'The number of Calories in the food does not match with the amount of fat, carbs, and protein.
There should be about 149 Calories.
Cals = fat X 9 + (carb - fiber) X 4 + protein X 4 + alcohol X 7 '
First of all, there is no alcohol, so I don't know where it pulled that from. Second, is it telling me that there is no way the protein powder can only be 110 calories?
Third, to make it less complicated, I added in the 8oz of skim milk separately.
So...how does one 'calculate' their protein drink?
(((hugs)))

I have used Fitday on and off for a couple years now and they are notorious for being inaccurate. As you can see the best way to use it is to customize your info but many times that doesn't work either.
My advice would be to adjust your info to kind of make it fit, you won't get 100% accurate reading as to what your numbers are but you will be in the ballpark. Just allow a few grams in either direction for a margin of error.
