Smyrna Support Group

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to invite all to our support group New Beginnings Bariatric Support Group in Smyrna. We are meeting again on the 11th of March at 7 pm at Faith Baptist Church. Our site my change so please email if you think that you may want to come. Some things that we are looking in to are daycare availability with a donation from the member with children. A clothing closet for all, protein samples, and anything else fun that we can think of. Warm weather is coming, but we all need support in the winter months. So grab that winter coat and head on out to the group. Look forward to seeing you there.

Hi Shannon, Will this support group be much different than the Changing Lives support group meeting that meets on the 3rd Monday (tonight) of every month at the Camden Moose? I'm afraid I won't be able to make the March 11th meeting as that is my surgery date. Please keep us updated as I don't think there can ever be too much support. Just Me

Well that is exciting and I'll be praying for you. We have had two meetings. It has been very nice. The group is smaller than the one at the moose. So, there is alot more coversation between members. We are going to try and have a daycare available if there are enough members interested. We would love to have you come. We also hand out information about recipes, I am trying to get enough people interested in doing the Cancer Walk this year, etc.

Is this a new group? This is the first time I have heard of a group meeting in Smyrna. Where have most of the post-ops had their surgery. Freida
