Dinner at Outback...

Oh My goodness, I took my wife and daughter out to dinner for Valentines last night at Outback. I sat in a booth and there was plenty of room for me and my stomach. I even had my wife take my picture to prove it. As you can tell I'm bursting with pride. The pictures are posted on the MSN site. I gave up trying to convince the waiter that I didn't need anything to drink. They bring you water anyway. I ordered the filet (7 oz.) with steamed vegatables, and brought 2/3 of it home. The waiter brought out a bowl of srooms, since I didn't want a salad or potato. I think he felt bad for me for some reason. My wife got to enjoy two nights of filet, and two nights of not having to decide what the kids wanted for dinner. Just to make it a more interesting evening, the couple at the table next to me, let me drool over their blooming onion. Now I need to find some new adventure. By my scale, I'm down 90 pounds from October 6. Still a long way to go (I never was asked by Brett or Dr. Irgaau about a goal weight) but at least the journeys enjoyable. Your bud, Rob

Rob, what a milestone. I figure in about 2 months I'll try Outback, just to be able to fit in the booth, what an accomplishment, WOW!! I bet you didn't even miss the bloomin onion. What are scrooms? I was able to buckle my seatbealt today and my belly didn't hit the steering wheel. By the time I got to Shop Rite I was in tears. Happy ones. I'll trade that for a bloomin onion anyday!!! Elissa

Rob, Congratulations on your 90 lbs loss. I am new to the site and I don't know about the MSN site that you are referring to. Could you direct me there? Thanks, Just Me

rob that sounds soooooooo great. weather you realize it or not you did more than just have a good time at outback. you were able to eat in public and have a good time and not dwell or try and "cheat" because it was a special day. that takes alot of guts to do. i'm really proud of you.
