I am trying to find a replacement for my beloved diet pepsi for after surgery, because plain water all the time sounds so boring, I am afraid I won't want to drink anything. Well today I tried Propel kiwi-strawberry water, I love it However, I am concerned about the 2% sugar should I be worried about that small amount? Does any of you posties drink it? Let me know, or if you have any suggestions, I also like cyrstal lite peach tea, worried about caffine. Dana

Hi Dana, I have not had the Strwberry Kiwi but I like the Berry and the Grape flavors. I have not found a Fruit 20 flavor that I really like but I still try them sometimes. I bet they would be good to mix the whey fruit protein drinks in. Granted I have a decent tolerance for sugar, I can usually have about 15 or so grams if I want. But the sugar in propel does not bother me at all - I can't imagine that bothering you. But, you will find that your tastes and tolerances will be unique. So far my Diet pepsi addiction has been the easiest thing to break - I was so surprised because I easily drank over 100 ounces daily of D.P. pre-op.

Where do you guys get the Fruit 2o and the propel drinks? I'd like to try something different and the bottled Isopure turns my tummy just thinking about it (it's all I drank the first two days post op, and I think that ruined it for me) Thanks.

Hey Tina - I had 0 tolerance for the isopure stuff. You can get propel and I think fruit 20 too at most grocery stores. I know Acme has Propel, that is where I get it - well there an Wawa - all the convience stores seem to have them. They do not have protein in them - it is just a way to get your fluids in. I've also found I like the 16 oz diet lemon Nestea. They have that at the grocery stores & conveinence stores too. I don't like most of the bottled tea's because they seem to taste funny. But this one is good (to me anyway!) Good luck

Thanks for the CL ice tea tip! I tried the Wawa brand but didn't care for it to much - but I really like the CL iced tea!

Tina, If you have a membership to Cosco, they carry both products much cheaper than anywhere I have seen it. The Propel sells for $11.99 case of 24 Fruit 2o is $9.99 for a case of 24 I also found the prebottled crystal light there today and bought it because I had a 5.00 off coupon. Usually it is $11.99 for a case of 24 I think. Hugs, Tammy

My Neighbor just told me she got a case of the CL at costco for 6.99 tofay too - what a deal. I had NO IDEA that the Propel was that cheap there! Are they the full size 23 oz bottles? They cost $1.29 - $1.49 EACH anyware that I have seen them. The best deal I've ever seen was Acme had them on one of their $10 for $10 specials. Thanks Tammy! That is a HUGE savings! now.... the berry or the grape....

Kathy, The Propel bottles are 16.9 oz. The CL & Fruit 2o bottles are 16 oz. I think that the propel comes in a mix of Berry, Stawberry-Kiwi and Lemon (my personal favorite). The Fruit-20 comes differently at different times ... I think that the last case I bought was a mix that had Lemon (my personal favorite), grape, cherry, rasberry. The CL, I believe had a mixed case of Lemondae (my personal favorite - seeing a theme here?) Strawberry-Kiwi & Rasberry Ice. I am going by memory on the flavors ... so PLEASE don't beat me with a stick if I am wrong ... as mentioned earlier ... my memory is fading fast!!! Hugs, Tammy
