Thursday & Friday Menus
Thursday:
8 oz skim milk with 1 scoop choc Whey Tech from Vit. shoppe
scrapple, fried egg
1/2 c chex mix
3 oz garlic/butter flavor catfish fillet
7 tiny tastycake cookies -
Totals Calories-526 FAT-20 CARBS-31 PROTEIN-49
Drinks - diet lemon Nestea - fell about 20 oz short of goal lately. I need to refocus on that & start drinking plain old ice water again. I get more in that way.
My Thursday Menu:
AM: cup of decaf coffee
8oz Vanilla Very Berry Protein (Carb Busters DLite)
Lunch: 1/2 egg salad sandwich (very thin bread)
3 pickle chips
1/2 slice of pineapple
Dinner: 1/4 baked chicken breast
butter parlsey potatoes
green beans
Snack: 1/2 egg salad sandwich (very thin bread)
Drinks: water and cranberry-grape juice
very close to goal with protein and fluids
Protein Drink - 30 gms protein (Unjury chocolate-1/2 scoop of unjury unflavored)
Protein Drink - 26 gms of protein
part of protein bar 7 gms of protein
1/3 meal of prepared cheddar potatoes (not a good choice) 3.5 gms of protein, 125 calories, 8 gms of carbs, 255 gms of sodium
protein drink 40 gms of protein (unjury chocolate mixed with unjury unflavored)
GULP ... gained 5 pounds this morning ... most likely water retention, but eee gads ... how scary is that? I tried to hop on that protein train, but I think it left the station dragging me behind it!!!
About 105 gms of protein, 8 gms of carbs, approximately 700 calories.

Today consisted of, so far:
6:00 AM 4 oz decaf coffee, made w/splenda and nf dairy creamer
7:00 AM: 8oz Chocolate Trader Joe's protein shake
9:00 AM: 1 Banana
16oz Wawa Diet Ice Tea
16+oz water
2oz egg salad, with chopped green/red peppers (my new craze...)
6 Ritz crackers
I'm finding that I'm not that hungry today...more thirsty. Other days I'm actually starving. Not sure I like the 'hunger pains' back again, but I guess they have to come back to stay at some point...

5:PM 1/3 Snickers Marathon Multi Grain Crunch
8:30 PM 3 potato chips
9:30 PM Outback - Happy Valentines day date with hubby:
2 french fries, bite of chicken finger, bite of bread/butter, bacon/cheese off a baked potato, lettuce, cheese, bacon, almonds & a piece of chicken from the chicken salad entree.
Probably not the best day ever - but hey - no chex mix - no cookies
