What did you eat today?

Some folks thought it would be helpful to see what posties eat on a daily basis. I've seen on the main board where they do this so I assume it would be easy to do here although there will be fewer replies. Any one can feel free to ask this question each day and then everyone can put their posts under the thread. If you have not eaten a full day when you post - feel free to list what you ate the previous day instead. Thanks for anyone that will participate in this to help out our group. I imagine this information will be useful not only to pre-ops but other post ops too.

Got my vitamins in but that was it so far. I've got a very very sore throat. Hitting the doctor's tomorrow. Might try some broth here soon. Not typical but I figured I'd post anyway to get the ball rolling.

Wheat bread is fine to eat as long as it is not made from unbleached flour. Pepperidge farms makes a very thin sliced whole wheat bread that I use. One slice only has 40 calories, 1 gram protein and carbs are only 6 grams. But it is "good"carbs because it is from grain not processed. I'm 4mths out so i don't need to toast bread anymore as long as I chew it. The thin cut stuff is not to "soft" either so that is also why I use it. I keep a loaf in my freezer and defrost a slice when I want to eat it.

Tina I buy wheat raisin bread from a local bakery, But I think pep farms has wheat as well. I can drink normally now and very rarely have discomfort. up until approx 3wks ago I only sipped all day, water is my constant companion.
