Well today I seen Dr. Jones the Pulmonary doctor. And the appt. went ok I guess???? Sleep Apnea of course I have to get a "sleep study" done....(just waiting for SleepCare) to contact me in about a week or so.....And Dr. Jones also thinks I may be asthmaic (slightly). I left there thinking mmmmm is surgery going to be for me or not. So I don't have clearence from him as of yet. I'll keep you guys posted...The journey continues... Shay a/k/a Snuggles

I have asthma and, as I understand it, that serves as a comorbidity that helps justify the surgery. I'm looking forward to getting off my asthma meds once I've lost the weight. . . not to mention being able to sleep on my back, take bubble baths, cross my legs, . . . oops, I'm getting a bit side-tracked. Hello, I wouldn't worry about the asmtha thing. I had sarcoidosis and my pulmonologist still passed me. If anything weight loss will relieve the effects. Hope

Shay, Another step ... in you road. Keep trodding on ... I believe you will get there. I felt the same way when I had trouble getting clearance from my cardiologist. But I kept on pushing on and finally made it. Hugs, Tammy
