re: Twin's update

Hi, TT Mom Kathy yesterday. She said this took a lot out of her. But is feeling okay. She ran a fever 101 but was discharged anyway. She has to give herself blood thinner shots for a month . Anyone else have to do that? I had the shot each day at the hospital to thin my blood and prevent clots. No big deal. Nurse was quick and good. Not sure if I could give it to myself? Sissy me. Daughter Bronwyn is doing well too. They appreciated all the emails of support we sent to them. Thanks you guys. I know it meant a lot to me last week when I was there. :See you all tomorrow. Elissa

I was REALLY surprised that the shot in the tummy at the hospital was no big deal at all. I was expecting something awful. All I remember abotu it now was that I don't remember it being bad. However - giving them to yorself must be hard at least till you get used to it. Glad your twins are doing well, you'll have to talk them into joining us.

I got to meet Bronwyn at the meeting today. It always amazes me how good you guys all look so soon after surgery!

I'll probably have to do the shots at home, too. I have a clotting factor in my blood. The vascular surgeon and hematologist are both involved in my pre ops. I had to give myself s******day when I was pregnant with my 9yr old. The first one was hard--after that, piece of cake (pardon the pun). I saw Bronwyn's name tag but never was able to get to talk to her Sat. Great that they're doing well.

Mom, Kathy got Mr. Happy the clown. He delivered the e-mails to the 5th floor. They were both at the PMRI meeting. Both were late and sat on the oppisite side up front. It was so crowded, I hardly introduced them to anyone. Plus I was on a misson Saturday. Sorry, bad angel Elissa
