Death of a member

Hi all, Did anyone see the post on the main message boards about Jade? She was a 23 year old girl who just had surgery the end of January. She passed away from complications. I have spent the last hour and 1/2 crying my eyes out. I feel so terrible for her family and friends. I also realize how lucky we are to have such a wonderful group at Chrias and a great support group. I thank God for all he has given me and for watching over me. If you have time, visit Jade's page. How sad this is! Reading things like this makes me truly appreciate the fact that I made it through the surgery without complications. I did the same as Jade and wrote a letter just in case I passed away after surgery and I had taped a copy to my journal and gave a copy to my cousin (I knoew she would not read it unless something happened) fortunatly the letter is still taped in my journal and was never pulled out to be read. I guess we should all Thank God we are okay. But then again the feelings of Jade's I think were all of ours.........we were better off taking a chance at the surgery then just letting ourselves go to an early grave. Peace! Hope
