WLS-NDE and Carb Busters D'Lites

Hey, guys! I'm not sure if you are familiar with the WLS-NDE forum, but they are another group of fantastic people. I believe that Hope B. brought this to our attention earlier about this great store! "Ed and Sheri Sutton from CARB BUSTERS D'Lites came to our meeting bringing with them many samples of the products they sell at their store located at 127 Kirkwood Square, Wilmington, DE (Kirkwood Highway). if you need directions call them at 998-6393 for directions. Ed and Sheri were fantastic and the products they brought with them were delightful and tasted so good. When you visit their store if you want to try a product before you buy it, no problem, they will open it and let you try before you buy. Fantastic for us because if you don't like it you don't have to buy it. Shortly they will have a web-site available and we can order products from them on-line. Ed and Sheri are offering our group a 10% discount on products from their store. They are in the process of having preferred customer cards made up but until they are available please show them one of my WLS-NDE business cards or take a copy of these minutes with you. Ed will keep me posted on the status of the web-site and when new products are made available. When I receive updates from him I'll let you know and you can check out his web-site. Karen, this is good information. Thanks for sharing. I stopped over after my pre-op visit on 1/15. I introduced myself & told them of my upcoming surgery. What warmth and what a variety. I bought some great things. And so nice too. Leigh was there last week while I was in the hospital. They remembered Hope & I by name. WOW. Knowlegeable, helpful, great bedside manner and a sincere willingness to learn. Their Customer service rates an A plus with me. They were telling me that they were making arrangements to talk with the good Dr.'s and PMRI about our needs and doing the support group meetings. I see their follow up skills are good and they even brought samples. They are the Best. Especially since we've run into such morons out there. I think some of the folks are going over Saturday after the meeting. Someone should warn them of the unofficial field trip. We could fill a place up & buy them out. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Hi All, I visit this store weekly. They have a wonderful selection and the most incredibly helpful people working there. I have purchased quite a few soups from them. I look forward to being able to eat real food. The owners are more than willing to help. They are supposed to meet with Vernette soon to discuss protein products.

Thanks for the information Kare - I haven't stoped by there yet but it is on my way to the vitamin shoppe (don't hate me, I like their store brand protein drink - what am I gonna do? I'm so picky) so at the very least next time I have to go get that I am stopping in.

The couple that own the store put on quite a show Monday night. They fed all of us many times over. Even with all gastric bypass people in the audience we still ate everything on the table. The cheesecake is equisite and the butterscotch milkshake was awesome. All of the protein bars were great too. I plan on hitting the store on Saturday. By the way they also had an excellent vanilla/pineapple protein powder that was good even just mixed with water. Definitely a must support place. Rob
