PMRI issue with sch'g post op appt

Has anyone had this problem? Ok, I've had PMRI clearance since Sept. I had my surgery date of 1/26/04. PMRI told me that they could not schedule my 2 month post op appointment (for March 04) because they didn't have 2004 calendar yet. Okay, fine.. they told me to call in Dec. So I called and was told they didn't have March calendar yet, to call back closer to my surgery date. So, I call today, which is 7 days past my surgery date, and NOW they tell me they are booked through the end of March and do not have an APRIL calendar yet. That I have to call back yet again. I told Debbie(PMRI) that this is my third try. It didn't seem to matter. I'm pretty ticked off so.. thoughts??? PS I'm baaaack and... with my face open to the world!! (thx Tammy)

Hi Tina, Pretty picture! I can only go by my pre-op scheduling of things up there but it seems to vary depending on who you talk to when. That kind of thing makes me absolutely nutty. I would call them back and ask for a cancellation list. I knoooowwwwww there have got to be people who are lax in keeping up with their post-op appointments. I hate all the red tape he said she said hurry up and wait stuff with doctors GRRRR. lol as you can see I am NOT known for my patience Linda

The cancellation list is a good idea, also call them frequently. That way they can't say that you haven't tried. Good luck. Very nice picture, Tina. Looking good.

So sorry Tina, I'll share my appointment with you chickie. THEY ARE SO SCREWED UP. : That link in the WLS journey doesn't fit with the rest of the program at all. Their calendar/appointment skills suck. Someone is lying too I made my 1 month visit follow-up with them for February when I was there back in October. Don't **** them off though or you'll never get on the cancellation list. ((HUGS)) Elissa
