Okay you post-ops. What is Actigall? I saw it mentioned twice. Has a bad taste. Am I supposed to know what this is? What is it for? I hate to think I missed something so close to surgery. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Elissa, Dr Wynn will prescribe this for you after surgery. It is a capsule that you take for six months to prevent gall stones. It is yucky!!!!!!!!! I try to put it in pudding because I could still taste it in applesauce.

I agree!! The only thing I couldn't taste it in was tunafish and mashed potatoes... I'm still a little turned off by applesauce to this day. But it does get better...at one month, you get to swallow it whole. -Karen

This probably goes without saying....but I'm going to say it anyway...If you are "lucky" enough to have had your gallbladder out - then you will not have to take the actigall... ((hugs))
