Okay you post-ops. What is Actigall? I saw it mentioned twice. Has a bad taste. Am I supposed to know what this is? What is it for? I hate to think I missed something so close to surgery. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Dr Wynn will prescribe this for you after surgery. It is a capsule that you take for six months to prevent gall stones. It is yucky!!!!!!!!! I try to put it in pudding because I could still taste it in applesauce.
I agree!! The only thing I couldn't taste it in was tunafish and mashed potatoes... I'm still a little turned off by applesauce to this day.
But it does get better...at one month, you get to swallow it whole.

This probably goes without saying....but I'm going to say it anyway...If you are "lucky" enough to have had your gallbladder out - then you will not have to take the actigall...
